From Hotelier to Virtual Assistant: My Journey to Freedom and Success

​Today, I'm excited to share my journey of career transformation with you. It's a story of how I transitioned from being a passionate hotelier to a remote Virtual Assistant professional. Buckle up as I take you through the twists and turns of my career evolution, from the hustle and bustle of the hotel industry to the freedom and fulfillment of remote work.

The Beginning: A Passion for Hospitality

Growing up, I always had a fascination with the world of hospitality. I was so excited about summer vacation and being in a hotel lobby atmosphere always mesmerized me. After graduating with a Bachelor's degree in Economics from one of Hungary's top hospitality universities, I was eager to explore the globe. My journey led me to live in places like Egypt, Qatar, and eventually, the sunny United Arab Emirates.

My career in the hospitality sector was so diverse, I worked in different departments from the back-office to front-office and then I found my place working as an Executive Assistant at a luxury hotel brand. It was a thrilling experience that allowed me to provide invaluable administrative and project management assistance to C-suite-level executives and board directors. I was living my passion, immersed in the world of hotels, and loving every moment of it.

The Turning Point: Seeking More

Despite my love for the hotel industry, I found myself craving something more. I desired a career that offered greater flexibility and allowed me to decide on my own terms of work schedule and the clients I worked with. That's when I decided to embark on a new journey—one that would lead me to become a Virtual Assistant and Digital Business Manager.

Armed with years of experience as an Executive Assistant and a burning desire to excel in the virtual world, I took the plunge. I enrolled in courses and earned certifications related to virtual assistance and digital marketing. These certifications would later become the foundation of my VA career.

The Transition: From “9-5” to Freedom

The transition wasn't easy, but it was undoubtedly worth it. Leaving behind the familiar 9-5 or sometimes 10-hour workdays at luxury hotels was a leap of faith. However, the promise of greater freedom, increased earning potential, and the ability to choose my work schedule and clients made it all worthwhile.

As a seasoned Virtual Assistant professional, I've had the privilege of working with more than 10 clients from all over the world over the last 2 years. My mission, “Elevate the Executive” has been to streamline their daily operations, allowing them to focus on what they do best. On average, my services have saved my clients an incredible 20 hours per month. That's 20 hours they can now invest in growing their businesses, spending time with loved ones, or pursuing their passions.

The Present: A Strategic Business Partner

Today, I proudly consider myself a strategic business partner. My extensive years of working closely with CEOs and top-level executives in the Middle East and beyond have equipped me with valuable experience and knowledge in handling business administration. My services include creating engaging content, repurposing content, managing online platforms, creating and managing online courses, and performing various administrative tasks.

What's most empowering is that I get to decide when and with whom I work. This newfound freedom has allowed me to achieve a better work-life balance, reduce stress, and prioritize what truly matters.

As I continue on this exciting journey, my goal remains the same: to assist business owners and coaches in optimizing their profiles by providing top-notch virtual services. With each passing day, I am inspired by the endless possibilities that remote work offers. The world is my workspace, and I am determined to help others achieve their goals and dreams.
